Live Large is our call to live beyond ourselves; to live with open hands, generous hearts, and bold faith. When we give our time, our talents, and our treasures, we make a lasting impact and discover the purpose we were created for. At Ascent, we believe that a life of purpose is a life of generosity.
The Stocking Social: For Single Moms
Many single moms in our community give everything to create joy for their kids, yet no one makes a stocking for them. This year, we’re changing that. We’re putting together stockings filled with small gifts, treats, and notes of encouragement to remind these moms that they are seen, loved, and part of a caring community. You can help by donating toward a stocking or contributing some of the items that go inside.

Navajo Coat Drive
This year we are taking a team down to Arizona to serve alongside our longtime ministry partners on the Reservation. This will be the first of many trips our church will take to serve and bless the community there. As a whole church effort, we are collecting coats and sweatshirts for our team to bring down to be distributed to families in need. If you've got a new or used coat or sweatshirt you'd like to donate, bring it by Ascent anytime before Nov. 19th. Thanksgiving Baskets
Each year, we partner with BVSD schools to provide grocery gift cards for families who need a little extra support at Thanksgiving. These cards let families shop for what they love and celebrate in their own way. Your generosity makes that possible.
We give $100/gift card, but any contribution helps! If you'd like to purchase a King Soopers gift card instead of donating online, you can drop it off at Ascent.
Last year we were able to provide for 90 families, our goal is to bless 100 families this year!
