Meet Our Teams & Ministries
For The Good Team
Ascent has committed to being a church that is more than for the good of the people that come into the building but a church that is for the good of our city. We believe that when the city prospers, we all are better for it. We are committed to seeking the wellbeing of our neighbors and meeting their needs. We want everyone in this city to love that Ascent exists, whether they believe what we believe or not. For more information, contact Amy.
Safety Ministry
We want everyone, when they come to Ascent, to know they are safe, that they can be their most vulnerable self here, and that they will be cared for. Our safety team is a diverse group of people that care for every person that comes through our doors by watching over our people and our spaces, lending their skills medically, de-escalating in emergency situations, and making sure every person is seen and responded to in the way they need. Projects Team
Ascent is more than just a building. We are a welcoming atmosphere where we hope everyone feels safe, seen & welcomed just as they are. The Projects Team gets to create a space where ordinary moments become opportunities for connection & community. For more information, contact Amy
Care Ministry
The Care Ministry exists to be the hands and feet of Jesus–seeing, caring for, and showing up for the Ascent community in times of need.

Creative Ministry
The hub for Worship, Production, & Special Services!
The Creative Ministry is responsible for the Sunday Morning Service Experience. Whether you are serving on the production team, the worship team, or on one of the many seasonal/special services teams, we operate with the same mentality: ONE TEAM / ONE DREAM - to create a sacred space for the Beloved of Jesus Christ to worship Him, grow in their faith, and ultimately see change in their lives. Student Ministry
Middle and high school are the years when students begin to decide who they are going to be for the rest of their lives. Our student ministry exists to help them navigate these crucial decisions and to let them know that God sees them, loves them, and wants to be a part of every single one of those choices. Welcome Ministry
Sharing God’s love from the first smile. The Welcome Ministry is the “first impression” of every Sunday morning worship experience. We get to set the table for a warm, genuine welcome—one that helps every person, whether brand new or long-time attender, feel at home. As ambassadors of God’s generous love, we get to embody the grace, joy, and hospitality of Christ from the very first moment they walk through the doors. For more information, contact Jackie.
