ALL-IN SUNDAY - AUGUST 31
It's a five Sunday month which means the 5th Sunday (August 31) is an ALL-IN SUNDAY for elementary! All K-5th graders will be joining their adults in the auditorium. We're bringing back activity clipboards, the "Secret Word", Secret Word prizes, and The Interruption! We can't wait to share the morning in the auditorium with our elementary friends!

1PM Lunch & 2:55PM Movie
Join Ascent Kids for a fun Saturday afternoon of lunch and a movie! We’ll meet at 1:00 pm at Flatiron Crossing Mall food court for lunch, then head over to AMC Flatiron Crossing 14 for the 2:55 pm showing of Light of the World - a beautiful 2D animated retelling of Jesus’ story through the eyes of young John, His disciple. This film is rated PG, see the film website for the trailer and more information. We have a block of 20 tickets, so make sure you reserve your spot and purchase your tickets today!
CHILD DEDICATION - SEPTEMBER 7
A time to celebrate and publicly recognize a parent's decision and commitment to raise their child to know and follow Jesus. We love getting to support parents in their decision, and partner with them to invest in the faith of the next generation. If you're interested, let us know by Monday, September 1!
SERVE WITH US IN ASCENT KIDS
We currently have 14 open volunteer positions in Ascent Kids and one of them might just be made for YOU! Volunteers serve 1 or 2 Sundays per month, 2 hours per Sunday. That's all it takes to make Sundays more fun (and meaningful) and to help build the faith of the next generation!
IMPACT FROM WATER DAMAGE
After recent storms we unfortunately found standing water in our 2-3 year old room and 4-5 year old room, and eventually discovered that one of the large drainage pipes from the roof had multiple leaks. Major repair work is needed to fix the issue which sadly means both rooms are out of commission for the time being. We're trying to minimize transitions because we know that change isn't easy for littles. However, in order to best serve your kids, we've had to temporarily shuffle rooms.

Quick & Simple!
We are so glad you are checking us out! One of our amazing greeters would be glad to get your family registered at our check-in desk. All children, 6 weeks to 5th grade, will check-in at this location before heading to their age-specific room. Each child will get a name tag to wear and a parent claim tag to present at pick-up. Then your child can jump on a trike and head to their room! Want to get a head start on registering? Complete a Family Info Form ahead of time.

Whether you serve as a greeter, leader, one-on-one buddy, or weekday volunteer, you'll find the time you invest (one or two Sundays per month, or Thursday mornings) directly impacts the faith of the next generation.
