Care Ministry
The Care Ministry exists to be the hands and feet of Jesus–seeing, caring for, and showing up for the Ascent community in times of need.
Prayer Team
Ascent has a multigenerational team of people who are passionate about prayer and want to grow in the area of prayer. We pray first about what God is already doing before we do anything. Being reminded that the Spirit is in the midst of everything Ascent is doing. As a team we collaborate and and create opportunities for our community to grow in the area of prayer and other spiritual practices.
Join us for pre-service prayer every Sunday before service at 9:40am in the student auditorium.

What is Prayer?
We at Ascent are a praying community. Prayer is conversation with God. It involves spending time in God's presence and purposeful communication. Our communication consists of both talking and creating space to listen. We believe prayer is for EVERYBODY and not just for a select few.
