This summer we are going to the Navajo Reservation in Arizona to immerse ourselves in the local culture and serve alongside our community partners. Any students who are will have just graduated 8th grade at the time of the trip are welcome. Dates are May 31-June 5, 2026.

Worship is one of the most tangible ways we can experience the Holy Spirit and this time, we're doing it through gospel music. Anyone and everyone are welcome!

Attention all kids ages 4* to rising 6th graders - get ready for a vine time at Ascent Kids CAMP! We're exploring the nature of God in the tropical setting of Rainforest Falls! It's going to be an awesome week filled with unforgettable hands-on Bible-learning experiences! ​

In the name of the Father, the Son, and ... the Holy Spirit. We pray in the name of all three, but how often do we live with an awareness of only the first two? As Jesus ascended into heave, He promised to send the Holy Spirit—the Helper—so that we could be true and living witnesses for Christ. Unfortunately, today's church has admired the gift but neglected to open it. We hope to take a step forward together through this 8-week study and our spring connect groups.

Immigration is one of the most complicated issues of our time. Voices on all sides argue strongly for action and change. As followers of Jesus, how are we to respond? 

 

This class explores a biblical perspective on immigration through the lens of Welcoming the Stranger by Matthew Soerens and Jenny Yang. Together, we’ll examine what Scripture says about God’s heart for immigrants and refugees, consider common questions and misconceptions, and reflect on how Christians can respond with both compassion and wisdom. The goal is not to debate policy, but to grow in understanding and faithful engagement with our neighbors.

Calling all kids!!! Please join us for our Palm Sunday Ascent Kid's Choir on Sunday, March 29th. Get your singing voices and your palm branches ready to help us celebrate Palm Sunday! We will be singing 1 song and we will provide you with all resources needed to practice. Your practice will mostly be at home, but we will have 3 in person rehearsals right after church on March 8th, 15th & 22nd at 11:30 in the Alley - you'll need to attend at least two of these.
