At Ascent we believe in being For The Good of Our Cities. We’re inviting you to step into something that has the potential to change us from the inside out. The Denver Immersion Weekend is a 48 hour experience where we serve, learn, and engage directly with the heart of Denver.

​​We will partner with Open Hand Ministries who will help us not just talk about urban issues but process what we’re experiencing through a Christ-centered lens. As we build relationships with people experiencing homelessness and hear their stories, we’ll be stretched beyond our comfort zones.

This weekend is about allowing God to expand our view of His Kingdom. We’ll share meals, conversations, and meaningful engagement while staying together on Denver’s Westside, immersed in the community around us. Our hope is to grow in compassion and understanding. My hope is that we return home not just inspired, but transformed. I believe God will use this experience to shape how we see the city, the Church, and our calling.
