IN PERSON WORSHIP SERVICE EXPERIMENT
January 17 - February 14
9AM & 10:30AM
We continue to watch and consider all of the guidelines set forth by our government officials at all levels and are committed to prioritizing the safety of our community and exercising wisdom. State guidelines have lessened the restrictions on churches, which allows us to have more people gather – however we will still approach large group gatherings with great caution.
Therefore, we are moving forward with the experiment of in person gatherings, while making services as COVID friendly as we can. We will begin with a simple Sunday experience, and build as restrictions lessen. It’s important to note that initially, your experience will feel much different than what you are used to for in person gatherings at Ascent. Here’s a few things you will see…
-
Worship in the auditorium, with families sitting 6 feet apart from other families and friends.
-
Masks worn by all
-
A joy filled experience of connection with God and corporately worshiping with others.
What you won’t see (to begin with)…
-
Coffee and donuts and lunch afterwards
-
Utilization of our whole space (no bouncy house)
-
Kids ministry and classrooms open.
It’s important to remember that this is an experiment. We will want to hear from you. We will be responding to stronger and lessening restrictions given to us by the Boulder County Health Department and state officials as we go. We will try to communicate as often as we can with any changes that will be made. In the meantime, we will continue to offer an online opportunity for folks to join us in worship.
