A friend recently did a book drive for an assisted living facility. The residents are the most vulnerable and aren't allowed visitors, so she had people "sponsor" a resident and send them books -- activity books and puzzles and such. I'm sure other groups could benefit from such a drive as well. Would that be helpful?
Parents with kids at home also might like to have activities. I'm not sure how to do it in a safe way, but a live reading (online) for kids in the afternoons? Book club for bigger kids?
Hi Libby. Thank you so much for these ideas! We've been in communication with Balfour about various needs that they may have...we'll add this to the brainstorming!
